It is almost that time of year again. Time to lace up your running shoes and get going for the annual Santa Clarita 5k, half, and full marathon! I find it so motivating to have something to train for. If I have a goal, my cardio gets done. Training for a race or a specific sport keeps me from getting bored with my same old 30 minutes of cardio a day. It gives me a goal, something to get better at. The best part of it is that I am competing against myself. I get to see how well I improve my fitness level, without focusing on weight loss. When my focus is off of weight loss and is put onto training for an event or my favorite sporting activity, the results just happen. Come join us as we get training for our race!
