Are you thirsty? If so, you are already dehydrated. The PLF tip of the day is to pour yourself a glass of water, drink, and repeat.
Water has so many benefits. It would take all day long to list all of the amazing things water does for us, so here are a few...
1.) Drinking water helps us lose excess lbs.
If you add two 8-ounce glasses of water before breakfast, lunch, and dinner while following a portion-control diet it can help you lose weight and keep it off for at least a year, according to research presented at the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society, in Boston."
2.) Water is the fountain of youth
According to well-known dermatologist, Daniel Maes (head of research for Estee Lauder), drinking water is essential for hydrated skin. Hydrated skin is younger-looking skin.
3.) Helps alleviate low back pain and arthritis
Our joints and the discs in between the vertebra of our spine contain life-giving water. When we have pain in our joints or in our low back it is not due to an Advil deficiency, we need to drink more water.
Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of fresh water every day. If you exercise or drink caffeine add an extra glass.
So if you weigh 125lbs you need a minimum of 62.5 oz. of water.
