Are You Juicing?

Making your own fresh vegetable and/or fruit juice is an excellent way to get your vitamins. Juicing makes the nutrients in vegetables readily available. A couple of my favorite benefits of juicing are healthy glowing skin and increased energy. I love my Breville juicer, but most juicers do the job just fine. Be sure to use organic produce!

Easy and Delicious Juicing Recipes 

 
Berry Delicious
2 C. Strawberries

1C. Blueberries
1 1/2 c Raspberries or Blackberries


Carrot Apple Juice
3 Large Carrots
1 Apple

Green Drink For The Juicing Beginner
1/2 Cucumber Peeled
2 Stalks of Celery
1 Carrot
1 Apple


Super Health Drink
1 Bunch of Kale

1 Bunch Italian Parsley
1 Apple (Be sure to de-seed)
1 Whole Lemon


Kale is bitter, so start with 1 or 2 leaves and work your way up to more.  

Make Your Own Favorite Juice Blend
  • Kale*
  • Spinach
  • Collard Greens*
  • Lettuce
  • Carrots
  • Italian Parsley
  • Cilantro
  • Cucumbers
  • Fennel
  • Celery
  • Bok Choy
  • Dandelion Greens*
  • Mustard Greens*
  • Ginger
  • Lemons and Limes
  • Apples
  • Oranges
  • Berries
* These vegetables are highly beneficial, but are bitter. If you are new to juicing ease in to using these veggies. Your palate will change and believe it or not, you will actually crave these leafy greens.
