Chlorophyll and It's Benefits

Chlorophyll makes plants green; it's the "green blood" of plants.  Research has shown that chlorophyll can inhibit the growth of different cancers and mutations of our DNA.  You can get plenty of chlorophyll in your diet by eating green leafy vegetables:  broccoli, spinach, Swiss chard, Brussels sprouts, beet greens, green peppers, kale, and leeks.  If you feel like you may be lacking chlorophyll then you can purchase a chlorophyll supplement.

Benefits of Chlorophyll:
  • Helps to repair tissue
  • Treats infections
  • Deodorizer for the whole body.  Reduces bad breath, body odor and fecal/urine odor
  • Neutralizes free radicals
  • Improves oxygen supply by stimulating red blood cells
  • Detoxifies the liver of heavy metals and toxins
  • Increases energy
  • Beneficial in all cancer treatments and has been shown to help reduce cancer
  • Reduces high blood pressure, lowers LDL
  • Improves immunity especially for people with Fibromyalgia
  • High in antioxidants
  • Improves circulation
  • Helps to clear your skin and fight acne.
I just purchased a supplement from Whole Foods and it is mint flavored.  I got a huge boost of energy as soon as I drank my 9 drops in 8 oz. of water (half of the recommended dose).  I'm hoping to see some results within my skin and wanting to boost my immune system.

 My green water!

PLF Daily Tip:  Take vitamins and supplements!  Even if you are eating clean, it will only strengthen your immune system, and improve your overall health.  If you aren't sure what you should be taking then go here.
